The Natural Life Business Partnership (NLBP) is a very unique global business community of high-achieving soul-centered entrepreneurs that work as a collective mastermind to help each other grow meaningful, high-earning businesses. We were founded in 2016 as a regional meet-up in PA/NJ and quickly expanded throughout the Northeast by the end of 2017. By 2018 we went to an online platform so we could expand across the US. By 2019 we started attracting international interest. Throughout 2020 we were able to expand and began our global membership efforts as well as raised the bar of professionalism for the soul-centered community. There is no other organization of our kind that has the collaboration, culture, and global reach that NLBP has achieved.
As NLBP embarks on this new era, we are seeking an experienced Executive Director (ED) who will propel the organization into the future as a significant and relevant resource for soul-centered entrepreneurs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the organization, managing contractors and staff, recruiting new members, communicating with current members, while ensuring we are operating efficiently and effectively to meet community goals. Our organization has a close-knit culture in which we place a high priority of communication, recognition, and collaboration. We are in search of an ED who is aligned with our culture and will continue to enhance it through positive leadership. This is a newly created key role at the organization that will work in concert with our Founder & Chief Visionary.
Core Responsibilities: Membership Operations
Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members retain existing members.
Direct member onboarding and check-in processes
Manage the annual membership renewal process including developing renewal communications, sending out renewal notices, and reporting results.
Produce membership activity reports to determine progress toward goals.
Identify opportunities for improving processes and provide proactive solutions.
Follow best practices for membership organizations
Provide Founder with accurate member forecast
Membership Engagement, Programming, and Customer Service
Work directly with members by phone, email, video chat and attending events to build and retain relationships
Respond to inquiries from members and prospective members
Develop value-added opportunities and offerings for members
Work to promote research offerings, advocacy activities, and events to members and prospective members
Oversee content for website and electronic communications
Business & Development Tasks
Brainstorm new revenue streams and corporate sponsorships of programs
Identify and develop new and existing referral sources and relationships
Maintain organizational CRM with daily notes, weekly reports and member contact information
Overseeing billing, finance, operations, contractors, administrative staff, and budgeting
What We Need: Our ideal candidate has proven, significant, and management experience, with an affinity to attract others. He/She/They MUST have strong leadership skills, innovative solutions, and a proven background in membership recruitment/business development in a membership organization. Able to speak the “language” of soul-centered entrepreneurs and a clear understanding of the entrepreneur lifestyle. In addition, the ability to write persuasive, clear, accurate and concise messages to internal and external audiences that will attract and retain members, as well as exceptional phone skills, critical thinking, strategic analysis, sound judgment and strong initiative. Experience working from a remote location with an international team preferred. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree.
